The challenges of the CTI for the solution of national problems: sharing experiences in Latin America and the Caribbean.
The objective is to analyze, evaluate and share experiences around government instruments and programs to design science, technology and innovation (STI) policies in Latin America and the Caribbean aimed at solving national problems. It is also interesting to analyze the mechanisms of social dialogue used in these programs.
The 1st Pre-Conference for Young Scholars that will be taking place the day before the main GLOBELICS Conference, 23 October 2018.
This is a joint project of GLOBELICS Alumni and Institute for New Economic Thinking (INET) Young Scholars Initiative (YSI).
Pre-Conference for Young Scholars will be dedicated to a specific topic ‘Financing of Innovation and Infrastructure for Development’ and will consist of three thematic workshops by distinguished professors: Elisa Van Waeyenberge, Augustin Fosu, and Jayati Ghosh.
All participants and speakers will be also invited to a social event in the evening of the same day.
Due to limited capacity, admission will be based on motivation letters and general eligibility.
