The 12th International PhD School on Innovation and Economic Development will be hosted by University of Tampere – for the 5th time – in 2017.
The aim of the Globelics Academy PhD School is to support the training of PhD students who utilise innovation systems and related approaches in a context of emerging or developing economies in their disertations.
Frontier innovation researchers will inspire and qualify the work of the students. The Globelics Academy aims at improving students’ ability to undertake theoretically informed and policy-relevant empirical work on issues related with innovation in firms and societies, and its relationship with economic development. The academy is an opportunity for the students to join high quality research networks in their field of research.
You may qualify for participation if you a PhD student:

• who works explicitly on issues related to innovation and development;
• and able to present an original paper associated with your doctoral work.
